From the time they met, they always had a special connection. A connection that would last through weddings and through years...A forbidden love they both knew would never manifest...The type of love that only they knew...Not a day would go by that she didn't think of him. The love they shared was a drug and he was her fix! No matter how hard she tried to delete him from her life, she could never forget him and what they shared...

He loved her more than he could ever admit...And even more because she was one of the few who saw his true heart, but not enough to risk it all. They both had so much to lose. They knew a union would not only be selfish but like forbidden fruit....He tried hard to hide his feelings, but she wasn't fooled by his tough exterior. She knew it was only a persona he created. A shield to protect him against the elements of his world. Despite it all, he was still passionate and sweet. Whenever they would meet, their chemistry was so strong it was magical. Whenever they made love, the bond would grow even stronger. They would find solace in each other, holding on for dear life.

But somehow they always knew their forbidden love couldn't last for long...As time passed, they knew their season was over and it was time to move on...The times they shared together became less and less. She spent months in mourning, missing his voice and remembering the warmth of his touch. Thinking of what once was. She finally found the strength to go on with hopes that time would heal her wounds...Their connection on hold, but no matter the time apart or how many others in their lives, they know deep inside their love will always be.
